🎉 New Jersey Represented Strong at NAA26 by NJSACC

This year’s National AfterSchool Association Convention (NAA26) brought together professionals from across the country who are committed to strengthening afterschool and out-of-school time programs. NJSACC was proud to be part of the conversation, connecting with peers, sharing insights, and learning alongside leaders who are shaping the future of the field.

Throughout the conference, our team engaged in sessions focused on quality improvement, workforce development, and expanding access to meaningful learning opportunities for youth. The energy in the room reflected a shared understanding that while the challenges facing OST programs are real, so is the commitment to innovation, collaboration, and continuous growth. It was especially valuable to exchange ideas with professionals from different states, bringing new perspectives back to New Jersey.

NAA26 also reinforced the importance of staying connected as a national network. From emerging trends in youth development to practical tools that can be applied immediately, the experience offered both big-picture inspiration and actionable takeaways. These are the kinds of insights that help strengthen programs on the ground and support the professionals who make them possible every day.

As we return home, we do so with renewed energy and a deeper sense of connection to the broader afterschool community. NJSACC remains committed to bringing what we’ve learned back to our network, continuing to support high-quality programs, and ensuring that young people across New Jersey have access to engaging, enriching opportunities beyond the school day.
